I tried chamomile yesterday. It's fine fried and brewed as an herbal tea. The center part doesn't do much for me if eaten fresh, though!

This morning as I was transplanting violets, my daughter asked me which flowers were edible in our garden. She knows them, but she wanted to be certain. We have johnny jump ups, borage, violets, chamomile, borage, roses, and or course the artichokes, which are my favorite. (I prefer them in the bud stage, of course!)

I ate a flower from my garden this last week--an artichoke!

Our artichokes are doing well this year.

I hope to have some new garden pictures up soon.

I hope to see some more of your front yard. We haven't done the front yard yet and I keep thinking of new ideas.
