		<description>I&#039;m not exactly up to my eye balls in cherries but have about an 1/8 bu.  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Just one trick is that I rinse and freeze them on a cookie sheet and then loosen them and put them frozen in a freezer baggies (about a cup more than a pie or what ever recipe).  &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;The advantage is that you can put up an enourmous amount of cherries, and they pit better when they&#039;re frozen (they don&#039;t squish).  Then you only have to deal with the amount you will use at once.</description>
